UNITED STATES ARMY FIELD BAND & SOLDIERS CHORUS with Lunch Included at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant at Knott’s Berry Farm - 2/28/26- $120

Join us at the La Mirada Theatre for the U.S. Army Field Band & Soldiers Chorus!  The Concert Band & Soldiers’ Chorus are the oldest and largest of The U.S. Army Field Band’s performing components. Founded in 1946 and 1957 respectively, these two ensembles combine to present joint concerts on their national tours. They have performed in all 50 states and 30 foreign countries for audiences totaling hundreds of millions.   The 60-member Concert Band and 29-member Soldiers’ Chorus perform regularly in some of the most famous concert halls in the world. Their music ranges from orchestral masterworks to Sousa marches, jazz classics, and Broadway musicals.

Prior to the show, lunch is included at Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant at Knott’s Berry Farm.  Since 1934, Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner restaurant has been a go-to for tourists and locals alike.

Musical CABARET in Temecula! with Winetasting at Monte de Oro Winery- 3/8/26- $135-  Sunday Matinee!

We start the day wine tasting (included) at Monte De Oro Winery in Temecula. Award winning Monte De Oro Winery is in the heart of So. Cal's Temecula wine country and has a wine tasting room, patio and Bistro overlooking the beautiful vineyards of Temecula. Lunch is on your own at the winery’s Bistro. After, we will attend the play Cabaret at Old Town Temecula Theatre (includes admission to show). 2 PM Show!

St. PATRICK’S DAY IRISH TEA in Julian, CA at the Julian Cottage Tea & Cottage Arts- 3/17/26- $135

Grab your four-leaf clover and get your leprechaun on and join us in the mountains of Julian, CA for a St. Patrick’s Day Irish Tea where everyone in attendance is an honorary Irishman at this festive celebration. The Julian Cottage Tea & Cottage Arts will be offering a special green themed, classic cottage tea for us (included).  Located in the King House, built in 1898 for Clarence King, the son of famous gold miner George Valentine King, you will enjoy a selection of teas, soup, finger sandwiches and desserts (all included). Enjoy a lovely day in the charming, gold-mining town of Julian – nestled among a forest of oak and pine trees in the beautiful Cuyamaca Mountains.

After lunch, you have time to explore Julian.  The entire town is a designated historic district and the shops and restaurants are housed in Victorian-style buildings dating back to the 1870s.  Enjoy the afternoon at leisure browsing the town’s unique boutiques, bakeries and shops that sell many delightful items including Julian’s famous apple cider and apple pie! Save room for baked goods to take home!  Our bonus stop will be Dudley’s Famous Bakery in Santa Ysabel.

We’ll motorcoach to San Juan Capistrano to board an Amtrak train for a coastal ride to San Diego. Enjoy Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner train as we travel south enjoying the spectacular ocean views along this protected stretch of coastline. Upon arrival, the bus will meet us and take us to the Coronado Ferry.  Enjoy the ferry ride to the Coronado Ferry Landing where you will have time for lunch and shopping on your own.  After, we take the short trip to the Hotel del Coronado where you will have time to explore the classic hotel and beach on your own.

SHROUD OF TURIN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE AT THE CRYSTAL CATHEDRAL/CHRIST CATHEDRAL (INCLUDES CATHEDRAL TOUR) AND ANAHEIM PACKING DISTRICT- 4/16/26, $120

Our tour takes us to the Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove to visit “The Shroud of Turin: An Immersive Experience”, a compelling exhibition featuring a meticulous full-scale replica of the famed Shroud. The Shroud of Turin is a linen cloth bearing the image of a crucified man, long regarded by some as the burial cloth of Jesus of Nazareth and questioned by others as one of time's greatest mysteries. Through immersive displays and scientific discoveries, this exhibit explores what scripture, history, and modern research reveal, inviting visitors to examine the evidence and draw their own conclusions. Lunch is on your own at the ANAHEIM PACKING DISTRICT food hall (Old Sunkist Packing Facility).  To finish off the day, we return to the CRYSTAL CATHEDRAL/CHRIST CATHEDRAL for an afternoon tour.  This towering, megachurch made entirely of glass, was once host to the popular "Hour of Power" TV program and is now the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Orange County.

MJ “The Musical” (Michael Jackson) at the Pantages with THE GROVE- 4/29/26, $160 (Rear Orchestra Seats)

Get ready to experience the unmatched energy and artistry of Michael Jackson in MJ the Musical, returning to the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. RIVERDANCE “30th Anniversary- The New Generation” at the FOX THEATRE RIVERSIDE (Close to Home!)- 5/7/26, $145

Riverdance in Riverside!  Riverdance 30 – The New Generation is a special anniversary tour celebrating the 30th year of the iconic Irish dance show, featuring a revitalized production with new choreography, costumes, lighting, and projections, plus a new cast of young performers who bring fresh energy to the traditional and contemporary blend of dance and music. This global tour showcases the original show's spirit while looking to the future with a fresh take on the beloved production for modern audiences. Show -6:30pm.  Dinner prior to the show on your own.

250 YEARS OF AMERICA EXHIBIT AT THE NIXON PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY WITH DOWNTOWN DISNEY- 5/13/26, $130

Celebrate America's 250th birthday at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library's inspiring new special exhibit. Through vivid displays, rare historic artifacts, and engaging interactive experiences, visitors will embark on a journey through the most transformative events in American history.  You will also have time to tour Richard Nixon’s original birthplace and boyhood home, walk through the presidential helicopter that flew four Presidents, take splendor in the White House East Room and pay respects at the final resting places of President and Mrs. Nixon.  After, we will visit DOWNTOWN DISNEY where you will have time to shop, dine and play at the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort in California (Does not include admission to the Disneyland Park).

Prior to the cruise, dinner is included at Buca di Beppo.  At Buca di Beppo, dinner is served “family style” and the food is the star of the show! Over a mile of art and live music!  The 30th annual Art Walk is the premier showcase for talented artists with art, music, sun and fun for the whole family.  Spectators will enjoy live music throughout the day on three stages along the way.  Also, included is a one- hour,narrated Newport Harbor boat tour from Fun Zone Boat Company.  Lunch included at Buca di Beppo.

Let us know if you're interested in seeing Broadway shows and we'll contact you for first right of refusal before we open the tour to the public.  By adding your name via our email (sales@travelsilverlining.com) or by phone (951) 929-6230, any time we plan to offer a new show, we'll reach out to those on this list for the first right of refusal, before the tour is published on our website and opened for bookings from the general public.

Tickets to sporting events and Broadway plays have become increasingly expensive. If there is enough interest, tickets will be purchased, and the game/show will be added to our calendar. Due to cost, we will no longer pre-purchase tickets with the hope that they will be sold. If there is enough interest, we will proceed with the ticket purchase.

Remember, Silver Lining is also a full travel agency.  Our agents can call you or meet with you personally to discuss future travel and cruises.  If you would like Silver Lining to come out to your community and present a day trip or travel agency/cruise presentation, let us know and we’ll schedule it!  For our “Cruise Nights”, we can also have one of our cruise ship reps join us for the presentation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Silver Lining Travel reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If Silver Lining Travel cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, Silver Lining Travel has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer funds to the same event at the new future date. Persons wishing to cancel their reservation 45 calendar days, prior to an event will receive a refund, subject to a $10 Cancellation fee. Any cancellations made after the 45 days, WILL NOT receive a refund.
All times, pick-up locations, and itineraries are subject to change.
