RONALD REAGAN PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY & MUSEUM- 5/14/24- $140

Travel with us to the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley and experience the captivating legacy held within.  While at the Library, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the museum’s fascinating permanent installations. Browse dozens of state-of-the-art interactive displays, thousands of artifacts, and even a full-scale replica of the Oval Office decorated as it was during Reagan’s presidency. Stroll by a section of the Berlin Wall and visit the F-117 Nighthawk. New for 2024, the library is hosting a special exhibition featuring Star Wars and Strategic Defense Initiative “Defending America & the Galaxy”.  Lunch is on your own at the Reagan café.

BALBOA ISLAND ART WALK & NEWPORT HARBOR CRUISE- 5/19/24, $125

Over a mile of art and live music! The 29th annual Art Walk is the premier showcase for talented artists with art, music, sun and fun for the whole family. Spectators will enjoy live music throughout the day three stages along the way. Also, included is a one-hour narrated Newport Harbor boat tour from Fun Zone Boat Company.

NASA JPL TOUR (Jet Propulsion Lab Pasadena) with Americana at Brand Glendale- 5/30/24, $120 (Note: Trip limited to 40 guests. Legal names needed by JPL by 4/30/24)

Embark on a celestial odyssey during this exploration of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory near Pasadena. JPL’s is NASA’s lead center for robotic exploration of our solar system. From Explorer and Voyager to Cassini and the Mars rovers, the majority of unmanned spacecraft and robots sent into space were designed and built here. Since its beginnings in the 1930s, it has become a mecca to rocket scientists and space enthusiasts. On this in-depth, 2-hour guided walking tour of the campus, we’ll learn about JPL’s history, accomplishments, current and future missions while exploring this historic site. Sites included: von Kármán Visitor Center, the Space Flight Operations Facility and the Spacecraft Assembly Facility. Prior, enjoy time at leisure for browsing and lunch on your own at The Americana at Brand in Glendale! Americana & The Grove are both owned by Caruso.  If you love The Grove, you’ll enjoy the Americana!  Note: Book early! Due to JPL being a government facility, the deadline to register for this tour is 25 days prior to the tour date and is limited to just 40 guests. Legal names will also be needed for JPL at that time.

HOLLYWOOD BOWL FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR with HARRY CONNICK Jr. - July 2, 2024, $150

Join us for a night under the stars at one of Southern California's greatest 4th of July traditions at the legendary Hollywood Bowl. Harry Connick Jr. first commanded a stage at the age of five, and he’s been blowing audiences away ever since. The Grammy and Emmy winner and his band will lead a night of songs, fireworks, and fun!  Also joining will be the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra who will be performing a program of patriotic favorites such as John Phillip Sousa's rousing marches. Buy dinner at the Bowl or bring a picnic dinner (all items including wine bottles and glasses are permitted, however containers & baskets larger than 15" wide, 15" high, or 22" long are not permitted). PAGEANT of the MASTERS – Laguna Beach- 7/22/24, $155

Join us on a 2.5 hour narrated tour on StarLine’s double decker buses through Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and the Miracle Mile District! We start at Hollywood and Highland where you will have time to see Graumann’s Chinese Theatre (with the famous, celebrity handprints & footprints), The Dolby Theatre (Home of the Oscars), Walk of Fame, El Capitan Theatre & Jimmy Kimmel Theatre.  Once we board our bus (with panoramic views from the top deck), some of the sights that you will see will be:

A San Diego summer tradition on the shores of Mission Bay, the annual Sunset Luaus are a festive celebration of Polynesian food, music, and dances perfect for family and friends. CANCELLATION POLICY

Silver Lining Travel reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If Silver Lining Travel cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, Silver Lining Travel has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer funds to the same event at the new future date. Persons wishing to cancel their reservation 45 calendar days, prior to an event will receive a refund, subject to a $10 Cancellation fee. Any cancellations made after the 45 days, WILL NOT receive a refund.
All times, pick-up locations, and itineraries are subject to change.
